About the camera
Sony RX100 VII
These images were mostly shot with a Sony RX100 VII and supplemented, like most travel photography, with a iPhone 13 Pro Max which I love mostly for convenience but also because nobody bothers you any more when you take pics with your phone. It’s almost like being invisible.
The Sony is a very capable compact travel camera about the size of a deck of playing cards. It has a 24-200 zoom which is really handy for your compositions and rare opportunities from convenient locations. Do I wish the camera had a wider FOV than 24mm, yes. Would I sacrafice that for the 200mm zoom, yes again.
