Beautiful Botany in Black & White
Colorful images without using color at all.
Some of the most memorable images of both the past and present were presented in Black and White. Think Ansel Adams, Clide Butcher, Annie Leibovitz to name a few. Black and white images are so often powerful because we are not accustomed to seeing the world in shades of grey rather than full color.
The advent of digital photography as made us crave well executed black and white images even more color images dominate. We will explore how to identify a good color candidate for black and white conversion and many ways to create a great outcome.
Lecture will be followed by practical at 3 work stations in Selby Gardens with examples.
