Butterfly Photography Workshop
Improve your photography skills by capturing butterflies!
Who doesn’t love a butterfly? We’ll venture into the Spanish Point Butterfly House after a brief lecture discussing both creative and technical workflows to capture compelling images of one of our most difficult subjects in photography.
A butterfly is one of the most difficult subjects to capture in photography because of their unpredictable nature and relative rareness. In addition, success requires careful attention to the three most basic photographic concepts of (1) aperture, (3) ISO and (3) shutter speed. Once mastered you can then focus on transforming a scene from ordinary to extraordinary by accentuating one of the following ingredients of a compelling image:
1. Color
2. Light
3. Subject
4. Composition
Macro lens a plus but not required. Open to all skill levels and preferred photography equipment.
